Triple Trade training can provide you with the knowledge and information not just to pass the licencing assessment but to gain sufficient underpinning knowledge to become a Licenced Electrician

We will provide guidance for candidates attempting the LEA Licence Practical Assessments.

Over several 2-hour sessions based on the candidate requirements

First-time success rates indicate on and off the job training during your apprenticeship in most cases is not enough for a passing your LEA, Our experience tells us that exposure to focused tuition, practice (and more practice!) in comfortable simulated environments, is the best way to prepare. Triple Trade Training know a lot of mistakes made in the LEA due to nerves and stress when sitting for the first time, we provide a relaxed simulated environment for your essential preparation and practice.

Our staff will cover the following

– Design and construction of 3Phase and single-phase installation
– Connection of consumer’s mains and Sub Mains
– Final sub-circuits to a switchboard
– Sizing of circuit protection and Cables
– Simulated Testing of Installation
– Visual defects (domestic)
– Multiple Earthed Neutral (MEN) system of earthing
– Residual Current Devices (RCD’s) Testing

In providing this information Triple Trade Training intention is to provide industry best practice processes and procedures on methods of testing along with sufficient underpinning information for the candidate to understand the rationale/reasons behind such tests and methodology

Entry Requirements

It is recommended that Safe Work Practice is completed first, then you can complete as required.

UEE30811

Competent in all units required for UEE30811 except UEENEEC020B. Ensure your profiling is current and has been verified by your employer.

UEE30807

Satisfactorily met ALL the requirements of all the competency units required for the UEE30807 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician other than those specified in UEENEEG005B and UEENEEC020B. Requirements include completion of the knowledge, practical and workplace components of the units of competence.

AS/NZS 3000:2018+A1 Electrical installations (known as the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules)

AS/NZS 3008.1.1:2017 Electrical installations – Selection of cables Cables for alternating voltages up to and including 0.6/1 kV – Typical Australian installation conditions

Licensing Exams

You have the option to book your Future Energy Skills assessment at the same time as your tutorial in one easy transaction.

You are required to receive approval from your trade school to sit your exams. Please contact your trade school to arrange.

You will need to email your signed LEA “Authorisation to Undertake License Electrical Assessment to [email protected] You will not be able to sit the assessment without this form and needs to be emailed before the exam date or you will need to re-book your exam at your own expense. Contact your trade school if you do not have this form.
